Miles For Mills 2023 1

Travis Mills Foundation

The 12th annual Travis Mills Foundation Miles for Mills Memorial Day Weekend 5K, presented by New Balance Foundation, was a success with more than 1,300 registrants and raising more than $160,000 for the Travis Mills Foundation.

The event was held Sunday, May 28, at Brunswick Landing, the former Brunswick Naval Air Station in Brunswick, ME. Eight post-911 recalibrated veteran families attending the Travis Mills Foundation Veterans Retreat participated in the race as part of Memorial Day Weekend programming. 

“Thank you to all who registered for the race and all of our sponsors who made this incredible event possible,” said Heather Hemphill, Executive Director of the Travis Mills Foundation. 

Congratulations to race winner Sam Angevine, 21, of Washington, D.C;. Top Fundraiser was Patricia Haggerty, age 72 ($4,540) and Team Haggerty Hollow ($5,525) of Otisfield, ME.
